  8. This is an electronic version of flash cards that are used to enhance vocabulary.
  9. The archived version have near near 300 words that are frequently appeared in the standardized tests such as GRE and SAT.
  10. However, you can  use this stack to memorize foreign words other than English: such as Spanish, French, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc. You just need the proper Macintosh script system for the foreign language. Then you will be able to write the word in the foreign language and write the definition in English. - for that matter you need a registered version of the stack. Please read registration information by clicking help button on the stack.

  12. The following is a brief explanation of the functionality of the stack.

  14. 1) The user can have "practice" session that displays each word followed by its meaning in random order. Also, if the user decides to exclude a certain word from the practice session, he can mark the word as "memorized".

  16. 2) User can refresh her/his memory by using "practice memorized" button.
  17.  
  18. 3) "Index card" will display all the words to be memorized together in one window. 
  19.  
  20. 4) "Memorized Index card" will display all the memorized words  together in one window.

  22. 5) "Definition" button will show the definition of the word.
  23.  
  24. 6) "Hide Definition" button will hide the definition of the word.

  26. 7) You can sort, find words in the stack.
